Who We Are
Legacy Heights Academy is an online academic program founded by experienced educators with backgrounds in science instruction, curriculum development, and hands-on learning design. Our foundation is built on a deep understanding of how students learn and what they need to succeed. This expertise comes from years of classroom experience across middle and high school sciences. We bring a proven track record of writing curriculum, leading professional development, and building academic programs in both virtual and in-person settings.

Why Legacy Heights Exists
After years in the classroom, two needs became increasingly clear:
1. Hands-on learning was always the first casualty of a packed curriculum.
Class schedules are built to cover standards within a fixed window. There is rarely time for the kind of deep, investigative experiences that make science click. Legacy Labs was created to fill that gap, giving students an immersive, hands-on experience where they investigate, analyze, and draw conclusions with expert educators guiding every step.
2. Many students were ready for greater challenge, but the next step wasn’t always clear.
Whether pursuing Credit by Examination, completing coursework as a homeschool learner, or seeking an extra classroom challenge, students find the expert instruction and guidance they need to move forward confidently with Legacy Academics.
